Paul Orwell, England's finest up-and-coming songwriter, performer and vagabond, has just released 'SPEAK OF THE DEVIL', the first single from his upcoming album "SMUT".
Orwell, who's not a stranger to the freakbeat stylings of yesteryear, is able to make music that's simultaneously rooted in both the past and the present. The A-Side of this 7", 'Speak Of The Devil', highlights Orwell's knack to write a new Devil-Disco Rock 'n Roll classic, while the B-Side, 'These Are The Good Times', appears as a US exclusive B-Side.
Also released by Heavy Soul! Records in London, England, the UK version of 'Speak Of The Devil' showcases a different B-Side, 'Street Legal'. Both tunes are equally brilliant and neither will appear on Orwell's 'SMUT' album, which will be released much later this year.
